The nights air moved through the car as I drove trying to make my way back home, I felt myself falling asleep at the wheel, going two days without sleep and driving home wasn't such a good idea. I was revealed when I finally made it home pulling into the driveway, I opened the garage pulling in watching as the lights automatically turned on. I gathered my things getting out of the car going inside. I dropped everything in any place I could and made my way to the couch kicking off my shoes, taking off my shirt, taking my hair out of the pony tail, and falling face first into the pillows. Damn my body was aching from the continues work I'd done, I worked as an undercover detective, my case was dealing with a gang trying to take them down from the inside, I was close to the leader but I still had a ways to go. I looked up at the time wondering if my roommate was home yet, I wondered what he would say about my things thrown carelessly around, and me crashed on the couch. Even though I was deadly tired I knew there was no way I could sleep at the moment, I had yet to eat food and check the mail or even take a piss in the last 5 hours. I slowly rolled back off the couch rubbing my face as I made my way to the first level bathroom taking a quick leak before heading to the kitchen to search for food since I wasn't much of a cook I depended on the skills of my roommate.

Trinity IsokanThe man sure had been getting busy at home. Ever since he moved here having a roommate wasn't too bad.... well having a human for a roommate couldn't be too bad to begin with could it? Trinity had cooked dinner and left it out on the table for Ken the demi-god hybrid had his face stuck in a book as usual. Until he heard his roommate clumbering around the room. Where he crawled out of his own bedroom. Holding a book in his hand as he walked out into the living room where Ken was in the kitchen.
"How was work?" he asked simply as he went and took a seat on one of the love seats that sat beside the couch. "I left stew on the kitchen table for you." Trinity called out as he shifted mildly. He wasn't too much into adulthood yet. Though he had stopped aging a while ago he was only forty at most - having his breed age so much and in this world. He half wondered what his brother, mother and father were up to right at this very moment.

I looked up when I heard my roommate come into the living room sitting down "Meh, Work was ok though it did annoy me having to deal with the Runt assholes today" I said without looking at him as I put the stew into the microwave to warm it up. "Thanks for the food...I love your cooking" I told him as I looked at my phone as it chimed "Oh...Looks like Jay is on his way over" I said aloud looking up "So what did you do today other than read?" I asked as I retrieved the bowl from the microwave putting in some white rice that sat on the stove and going to sit and eat. My stomach gave an audible growl as I finally sat in front of food in god knows how long.
It hadn't taken Jay long to arrive at the door, he tapped twice before walking inside giving a howl to let everyone know he was in the home. "Yo!" he walked into the living room looking around, "Hey Trinity! Sup Kendo" He smirked knowing I hated that nickname he gave me years back. Jay was a rare Silver Wolf, only one of his kind so he was like an idle for the Wolves he lived with. He looked around a bit "And he ran off again...apparently I can't keep track of the pup who's with me today" he sighed sitting down and smiling at us.

Trinity IsokanTrinity would snort softly, the scientist opening his book up again. He didn't really care for the world around him that was for sure. It was a secret that he was a demi-god from another world here. The longer he could keep that secret the better. Maybe werewolf was a better way to describe him - though Ken and Jaw had never seen his instincts his animal form in the flesh. They thought of him normal - normal aside from how short he was. Only sitting at five feet in height, he wore red lined glasses and couldn't see well without them either.
"Maybe you should keep a better eye on them." Trinity mused for a moment as he turned to another page on his book. Looking at Ken, "I studied, mostly about plants today. Been thinking about a new experiment to run at the lab." what would happen really if humans could get their food from the sun. Or any species for that matter. It could change the course of reality, though he was no flower child.

Jay laughed as he looked back at Trinity "Maybe...but I'm not much of a babysitter, the Kid wanted to be a guardian but he can't even stop wondering" he shrugged as he sat in the armchair. "So you guys feel like going out tonight? The Shifters bar is having a special tonight" I shook my head as I took a moment to chew my food. "No I just got home, I haven't slept in two days so after this bowl, I plan on crashing on this couch until tomorrow afternoon" I informed Jay, Jay huffed softly looking away "What about your bed? why not go to your room you will have a better rest" he said as he finally spotted the pup he was supposed to be watching. He stood to let the pup in but stopped him before he could have a seat "Well than spoilsports! I'm out" He howled as he walked out closing the door behind him.
I couldn't help but silently giggle at him, Jay has been my friend since we were kids the silly pup never changed even after becoming the alpha to his pack. I sat back a bit to allow the food to settle in my stomach "So, what experiment you want to do now?" I asked. I made sure to turn my phone off but keep my pager on so if there was an emergency I could be reached by a select few. Ken took his weapon from his holster and locked it in the safe on the bookshelf before sitting back on the couch.

Trinity IsokanMaybe the reason he fit in so well, was because this world had so many creatures in it. Trinity thought of his mother when she had been queen - then again he didn't miss those days. They were always so hard. Especially with dad. Trinity looked towards Ken and shut his book again. Pressing his glasses against his face.
"What if humans could eat from the sun." he said simply put. "They're fragile creatures so maybe if they had some sort of advantage they wouldn't be so lame." It was obvious what his opinion on humans were. Despite the fact he appeared to be one himself.

I snorted as I laughed throwing my head back "Oh what so you're saying I'm lame? I just want to make sure I have this right" I said as I got up taking my bowl in the kitchen to wash it out "so if I'm lame so are you, know that right?" I smirked as I put the dishes in the drying rack. I walked into the living room starting to pick up the things I tossed around "I guess I will take the wolf's advice and crash in my bed before my phone has another chance to ring" I said as I started to walk upstairs to my room "Feel free to bug me! Something tells me I won't be able to sleep once I get up here" I sighed a bit as I continued up the steps.
Once I got into my room I put myself down before crawling into bed, my computer chimed before waking itself up as someone called my skype. Jay popped up on the screen with his goofy face "Hey" he sighed "What didn't go out?" I asked with a small smile "Nope...Had no one to go with so I went back home" he said as he showed his living room with his pack on the floor around him sleeping. "Aw...Well maybe tomorrow Jay, I will go out with you" he smiled "Really? that would be great Ken...will your roommate come?" I shrugged sitting up a bit "Maybe, that's up to him but you know how much he likes his books," Jay said no more for a bit as I lay back down just watching him as he pet one of the pups "Well get some sleep, Ken...Call me when you wake up" he said softly before ending the call, I sighed softly before turning over and closing my eyes.
