OOC Rules - -Please be kind and respect the members around you. Treat others the way you want to be treated is the golden rule. For instance- If you touch a tough topic for someone and they politely ask you to change it, or veer away from it, try to do so. There's no sense in making people feel uncomfortable when the topic can be changed just a quickly. Do not put a member down, either. If I, or a fellow staff member, find out that people are being bullied, the situation will be handled as soon as I hear about it.
-Racism and offending topics/discussions are not tolerated. We're all here to get along, regardless of skin color, beliefs, so on and so forth. Regarding to the precious rule, respect everyone and treat them how you want to be treated.
-Our staff members are only here to help and answer you questions, when you need it. Please try not to argue with us. We aren't trying to cause any harm or ruffle any feathers, we're simply trying to make this community better in the long run. We get on daily to interact with everyone and attempt to improve on thing, not make anything worse.
-We would appreciate you not spamming a thread. Bumping your thread after no interaction for twenty-four hours is one thing, but bumping it after four hours is another. Please wait and give people time to check your thread out before you decide to call it out as a 'dead thread' and bump it up.
-To be straight up and blunt- I don't like plagiarism and I don't appreciate or respect members who partake in it in any way, whatsoever. That's someone's, possible, hours of hard work you're taking and claiming as your own, and it's nothing but laziness on your part for doing it. I love all of my members very much, and I love my community but if someone comes to me, saying that you have plagiarized their work with evidence of the problem? I won't hesitate on this ban-able offense. Please come up with your own ideas so we can avoid this problem all together.
-We have the advertising board for a reason, so please advertise your site there or in your signature. If a member comes to one of our staff members saying that 'soandso PMed me asking me to join their site' you will be warned. If the problem persists after your warning, you will be temporarily banned.
-You may only have one account on this site- You can, however, have as many characters as your care to make, and organize them accordingly in our 'Character Log' board. If you're having problems with your account or if someone has somehow gained information to your account and you have to make a new one, please contact a staff member and we'll handle it immediately.
-You may not mini mod. Meaning that you are not allowed to act as a staff member and take on a staff members duties of handling a situation if you are not one. If you see something you don't like then please message a staff member or take it to the reports board.

IC Rules- -God modding is unacceptable. Your character isn't invincible guys, they're gonna get bitten or scratched up quite a few times before they're life ends. Personally I think it adds character, so why are a lot of people so against it. I understand that that's your baby and your don't want them to get hurt, but come on. If you're in a battle with another character and nine times out of ten you're not getting a single blow landed on you? Seems a little unfair and unbalance to me.
-Power playing is a slight bother as well, and is unacceptable and frowned on by many players. You have your character and they have their character. That's literally the easiest and most simple way to put it. Do not control another player's character.
-When mating your character please make sure you 'fade to black' or 'cut scene' before it gets explicit. We want to keep most things age appropriate since all member's are allowed on this site.
-I do allow cussing, outside of the clan language, in role play- But I simply ask that you hold back and try to retain yourself if someone approaches you and asks you to avoid doing it around them.
-As I've mentioned numerous times, there is no word limit when it comes to role playing. We welcome members of all literacy, and we're here to help new members improve on their writing skills, should they want the help.
-Half clan cats must be bought through the site shop. I'm perfectly fine with a loner or kittypet joining through bio history, but we don't want everyone and their cousin running around with half clan cats. It was a big deal when brought into play during the books, I'd like it to be somewhat of a big deal now.
-Please wait until a staff member approves your bio before you go out and begin role playing. We want to make sure that everything is in shape and good to go before we set you loose.
-Everyone has some sort of flaw- Therefore no Mary or Gary-Sues are allowed. Your character isn't perfect. Everyone has something that makes them tick. Everyone has something that they're passionate about, or that makes them angry. I'm pretty sure everyone has fallen at least once and scraped their knee on the ground and earned a scar from it. No one is perfect- Embrace the differences!
-Your character is allowed to be in more then one thread at once, so go wild and get to role playing!
-Please wait two weeks after mating your character to have them birth their offspring. If a character has mated on March. 1 then their kits would be due on March. 15. This gives you plenty of time to adopt the kits out to people who you know will role play them, and it also doesn't cause a major character flood on the site.
-If there is more then one member in a thread, please don't flood them out. If you hop off of the site for a few hours and come back to two pages worth of replies, trust me, it's nothing but a disappointment to be lost and flooded out. Therefore, wait for everyone and give them a chance to response. Don't forget about any of your fellow role play buddies unless they've clearly stated that their character has left the thread.
-Please know that anyone is allowed to make a high position character, but if you're inactive for more then two weeks without letting us know then we will have to offer the inactive position to someone else.

Staff Duties - -As a staff member, one of your duties is to answer questions when you see that they've been asked, and to help our fellow members when they're in need of it. There's nothing more frustrating then being new and confused and we're trying our best to avoid that for anyone.
-Accepting bios is an important job as no one can role play without this happening. If you see a bio up and ready to go, try to read it first and foremost, or notify another staff member and ask them to take a look at it if they aren't busy. We want to get everyone out there and making new friends as soon as possible.
-Please try to keep members in the community in line. If you see them breaking or a rule, or if someone has reported that they've broken a rule with evidence to suit, take care of the situation as soon as possible. Remember to stay level headed and calm when approaching the member. Explain what they've done wrong and caution them to no do it again. -The golden rule goes for we staff members as well. Respect everyone around you and treat them how you would like to be treated. I've chosen certain staff members for a reason, and disrespect certainly isn't one of those.
-If I see one of our staff members acting cocky and flaunting their privileges in a non-playful manner, they will be warned. We're all part of the same community and there's no sense in feeling like you're above everyone just because you have a bit of power.
-If I see that a staff member has been inactive for more then two weeks without notifying anyone of their absence, or why they will be inactive, they will be stripped of their position. We need staff members who will be online almost everyday to ensure the the community is running well and to help members when they need it, not one who will up and leave at the drop of a dime without notification.
-If a bio is left unattended by it's owner for more then a week, please remember to move it to the 'Unaccepted/Forgotten' board and notify the member of this move. If they would like it moved out of the board so it can be worked out, please do so when they ask.
