KestrelstarWhat was the tom doing out so far from his territory? Boredom perhaps as he had told his warriors he'd be going out for a strole. Striding straight past the barn the newly appointed leader would stretch his limbs and walk into the open field. Something about the freedom just made him take in the air and sigh. Starclan protect him, as he did in return do his duties the best he could.
Today was a solemn day for him though. Celebrating death was never something he did well. Silently as he would mourn for those lost, to return back to the stars from whence they came. Kestrelstar remembered their names and faces as he lowered his head. The silence was almost beckoning. With leaf-bare on their tails he silently wondered how they would do. Getting prey for the season would be a task.

stars speak 276 words ♚ The flame-point she-cat had never been a cat who left her territory often; there was something safer and more calm about the moores that she had grown up on that kept her pretty close to the borders. Despite this, her paws would occasionally carry her to a land not owned by any clan, where it felt as though time stood still for just a moment so that she could take in the last few moons without a distraction.
She found her paws gravitating toward the field, and let them lead her wherever they saw fit. Her pale blue eyes kept a lookout for dangerous, such as loners, rogues, and rats. It wasn't too long after she dipped down into a thick bush, her eyes locked on a cat that she didn't recognize. He was a white and brown tabby, and a tom. From the scent of him he smelt of ThunderClan. She had interacted with a few from ThunderClan during gatherings, but she couldn't recall seeing this tom. Her memory was always a bit fuzzy when it pertained to gatherings. A mixture of exhaustion and excitement could do that to you.
She realized that dispite her position in a safe location, her bright white fur would quickly give her away. She decided that exposing herself on her own terms would be a safer method, as she didn't want to seem like a threat to the tom. She climbed out of the bush, and took a deep breath to steel her nerves. "Hello?" she called. Her voice was soft, but she was sure he could hear her. She droppped down into a nondefensive position, hoping desperately that she wouldn't look like a threat to the tom. After all, she couldn't risk fighting.
`ooc notes; yay!

| That day found Pipitstar on a peculiar trek outside of his home territory, trodding curiously through grassy fields neighboring the barn. The sprightly tabby had been making his merry way across the moors when the familiar scent of a clanmate had caught his notice, veering off toward the unclaimed lands nearby. 'Oh my!' He'd thought, 'Had Cloverheart discovered something interesting? Did she go off on some adventure? He wanted to join in too!' With those thoughts in mind, the leader had taken off after the warrior, following her scent trail through the meadows.
Pipitstar's ears perked, his face lighting up as his clanmate came into view. "Heyyyyy! Hey, hey! Cloverheart! Cloverheart, I fou- I found you!" He called out loudly, bounding toward her with eager excitement evident across his face. Except- what's this? She was with someone else too? Who was that, who was that? Stumbling to a halt a few steps behind the pale furred she-cat, Pipitstar blinked curiously at the decidedly not-Windclan feline.
"Oh! K-K-Kestrelstar! Hiya!" He beamed in greeting, recognition flooding through him. Woah! Another leader! He like- barely never saw them outside of Gatherings! What was the Thunderclan tom doing out here? Unlike Cloverheart, Pipitstar seemed not to be wary of any of the possible dangers of meeting a rival clan leader out in the fields like this, cheerfully offering the larger cat a friendly wave of his tail.
"Whatcha guys doin' out here?" He inquired curiously, glancing between Kestrelstar and Cloverheart for a moment before letting out a loud gasp. "G-Golly! Are you meeting here in secret?? Are you in love??? Did I interrupt?" Instead of appearing angry or betrayed at the possibility, Pipitstar seemed to be more concerned and apologetic that he might have accidentally cut into their 'romantic' getaway.

Shadow lay below a rock, his slumber soft and could easily be interrupted not that he really cared. He stayed in one spot for too long and needed to find a new place to rest, he lifted his head as some new scents began to hit his nose. “Ugh...Kits” he growled softly knowing he really needed to get up and move away, he was in no shape for a fight at the moment. Looking back at his injured paw, even though the blood stopped dripping he was still in a lot of pain, his side was smeared in the crimson red.
Shadow tried his best to get up and stay off his back paw but he needed it to get fully up, he sucked in a deep breath putting his paw down and getting up. He let out a growl as he tried his best not to yelp like a little pup, Shadow realized he was in perfect view of the kits. When he attempted to hop away It didn’t go as planned, his paw kept hitting the ground making him growl each time. “AH! Stupid Nofurs!” he grumbled as he sat down looking back as the blood started to flow again.

KestrelstarIt was to his surprise that he would be getting company. Cloverheart had not entirely surprised him, well in another sense at least. The tom would hold himself high, paws firmly planted on the ground as she gave off a hello. He didn't know her name of course, but he did vaguely remember her face from gatherings. It was only a few moons ago that he became leader after all - since the previous leader died of illness. It was to his surprise that he was welcomed with open paws though.
It also didn't take long for the windclan leader to show up. Kestrelstar blinked in confusion at the energy he had. That was something he wasn't used to, his eye growing wide a bit as he lifted a paw to step back for a moment. A soft chuckle escaped his throat when Pipitstar tried to say they were meeting in secret. Quiet frankly if he were to have a forbidden love he'd much rather it'd be with pipitstar than this cloverheart from what he gathered her name to be.
The sudden scent of a canine washed over him though, the cat arching his back as he hissed. "There's a wolf nearby." he suddenly warned the two others as he tried to crouch within the grasses of the fields. Dying and withering - it probably was not the best decision. It looked like it was injured though, the wolf trying to get away from them rather than towards them. Hearing the yelp the tom cat stood up straight again.
"Maybe we should help him?" he asked his eyes moving over to the other leader and his member. They all probably knew they couldn't talk to the wolf, but they could find somehow if it needed something. Kestrelstar knew the wolf probably didn't want to be here as much as they didn't want to be near him.

Mel: Mel yawned, his long white fangs showing. He and his friend Oolie had been living in the area for a few weeks now, and Mel was perfectly fine with it. It reminded him of his life before he was a house cat. He was fine without the pampered life, he preferred living out here. He perked his black ears, gold eyes sweeping the plain and came across a few cats. He slinked forwards, and watched them for a bit. He watched them, but after debating it a bit, he continued by walking forwards, his black fur glinting a bit. "Well, perfectly nice day out! So, what brings you all here?" He seemed friendly enough, his demeanor was perfectly peaceful, and he just watched them, now wondering about why Clan cats would be around here. Loners were not often found among the clans, so why were they down here?
