APPEARANCE
Asterfang's pelt base is gray and white like her mother's. Her darker stripes she gets from her father. The stripes start near her muzzle and run down the back of her head and shoulders. They go across her back to the tip of her fluffy tail. Small tufts cap her ear tips and darker markings cap her shoulders. Her fur is medium length and is mostly always well groomed. The diet of fish keeps her pelt slippery and sleek. Her nose is a pinkish gray color while her whiskers are long and white. Her hind legs are long and powerful ut her front legs are a bit shorter. Aster is not big nor small, she's kinda in between. Her eyes are a dark hazel color, almost amber.

NEGATIVES : grudge-holder, jealous, stubborn, prideful, mean, distant
Asterfang is a she-cat who is loyal to the warrior code and her clan above anything else. She would never betray her clanmates for anything so you won't really see her running off to break the warrior code. She's clan oriented since she's very committed to her clan and only her clan. Asterfang is quite confident in all the choices she makes even if sometimes she makes some bad choices. She will still be confident in her clan. She's also confident that her clanmates will obey her orders and not lie in front of her face. Asterfang is determined to be the best leader she can be for RverClan's sake. She's very protective of her classmates, some might say too protective. She wouldn't send her clanmates into a battle if she wouldn't be fighting. She cares about her clanmate's lives more than hers. Asterfang is always curious to know what's going on in her clan.
Well Asterfang isn't all that good she does have negative traits too. She tends to hold grudges alot and she can hold them for a long time if she wants to. Asterfang tends to be jealous of cats with a family like a mate or kits since she does not have some of her own. So she's quite jealous of Lilacpetal and her kittens. Asterfang is a she-cat who hates admitting that she's wrong. She will always try to prove herself right. Asterfang is a bit prideful too since she has too much pride to admit that her clan is starving or something. She sometimes can be a bit mean when she's in a bad mood. She will get very snappy then. When she's in a bad mood, Asterfang tends to be a bit distant and not talk to anyone until she feels like herself again.

HISTORY
The mother of Asterkit was a normal RiverClan queen who had fallen in love with an ambitious tom-cat named Slateclaw. Asterkit's mother's name was Stormwisp. She was a beautiful young cat who had always hoped to have a litter of kits one day and then she did. But when she came close to kitting, she caught a small sickness. Stormwisp died that night along with two of her newborn kittens. Asterkit was the only survivor of the litter. She was raised by a bossy queen by the name of Flowerfang who treated her with love and tried to spoil the kitten. Slateclaw never visited, he wasn't interested in his only daughter. Flowerfang had two other kits named Brackenkit and Mistykit. Brackenkit was nice but Mistykit was a little annoyed that she had to sleep beside her adopted sibling. Asterkit watched her adopted brother and sister be given their ceremonies. She felt a a bit jealous that day but Asterkit knew that it would soon be her turn.
Apprenticeship came pretty quickly for the gray and white tabby kitten. A strict but warmhearted tom named Rowanblaze became her mentor. Asterpaw learned quickly but got angry and snappy when she missed a catch. A young she-cat named Lilacpaw befriended her. But then a moon later the brown tabby began to ignore Asterpaw. Asterpaw realized that her friend was mooning over one of the older apprentice's named Snakepaw. She began to hold a grudge against Lilacpaw for not even paying attention to her. Soon Asterpaw's assessment came and she passed even if she had missed a fish. She was given the name Asterfang.
She watched Snakepaw and Lilacpaw become Lilacpetal and Snakeclaw. Asterfang was given her first apprentice at twenty moons old. A young she-cat named Fernpaw. For six moons they trained and then Fernpaw was given the name Fernheart. During that time Lilacpetal and Snakeclaw had became mates. Asterfang watched them sleep side by side with jealousy. She knew that she had lost her friend to dark brown tabby. Soon Birdcry had retired brown being deputy. Asterfang's eyes shone with pride as she was named the new deputy of RiverClan.
She soon found out that Lilacpetal had given birth to kits. Lilacpetal had named them Birchkit and Elmkit after her own parents Elmwhisker and Birchflower. Asterfang countinued to feel a bit jealous because of this.
