ASPHODELTAIL
TOM
27 MOONS
THUNDERCLAN
WARRIOR
RED TABBY & AMBER EYES
CLEVER
APPEARANCE
Asphodeltail is quite handsome(or so he says). His short, thick fur is a deep red tabby color, with a white belly, chest, and maw. The tip of his tail is also white, which he says is his biggest weakness when stalking. His thick fur aids him when stalking through the underbrush, to keep his skin from being targeted by thorns. His body is a little stocky, but its full of strength. His ears are short, and rounded, and his paws are large for his balance. He walks with confidence and holds himself highly.
PERSONALITY
Asphodeltail is quite a confident tom, and doesn't worry what other cats think of him. He does what he pleases within the warrior code, and his leaders word. He's loyal to a fault, and obeys any order given to him. Most would find him comperable to a soldier in war. He is clever, and quick witted; often at the expense of other cats feelings. He isn't inherently mean, but be believes in delivering the truth. Sometimes the truth hurts. He tends to not care about his own safety, and would put his life on the line for any single cat within ThunderClans borders. He is insanely proud of his position within ThunderClan, and does not have the ambition to rise above his current station. A loyal soldier is all he ever needed to be.
HISTORY
you were born to two lesser-known warriors of thunderclan. they were young, and in love, though they didn't know what they were doing. they were shocked to their core when they found out that rainfoot was pregnant. stonenose wasn't expecting it, and he reacted badly. it was the end of their love story, and no one ever found out that you were stonenose's kit. you didn't know until long after the grey warrior was gone, and your mother out of guilt couldn't hide it from the clan anymore. by then you never knew your father, just stories that were told and the look in your mothers eyes when she talked about the past.
you had two siblings growing up; honeykit and mintkit were your sisters. you cherished them like no other. honeykit was always the most boisterous, of the three of you. she was rash, and didn't think of how her actions affected others. there was always something about her personality you admired; unabashed. mintkit was her opposite, always the mother of the three of you. she cared almost a little too much at any given time, and even far into your apprenticeship she carried that burden. you were always so proud to call them your kin. you were more careful with what you said and how you said it. just like honeykit, your confidence radiated from your core, and even since you were a kit, others were drawn to you.
you were not without faults, of course. you were easily jealous with those you were attached to. honeykit always made friends so quickly, and you wanted your friends to your self for the most part. possessiveness was never something you were proud of. despite this, you were able to keep those feelings beneath the waters of your emotions; perhaps you were better at deceit than you thought. you tried to be good for the most part. you were always successful. even your sisters weren't aware of what you were hiding.
the three of you enjoyed kithood, despite never knowing your father. redfoot was always kind, and though she didn't expect to be a young mother, she did so with the grace of a much more well-versed queen. you were proud to call her your mother, as were your sisters. when other kits would ask you who your father was, their eyes starry with pride for their own, you said you didn't have one with such conviction that they were almost afraid to ask anything further. you never had a problem with anyone else. you were able to make friends so easily, but you never truly connected to anyone besides your family.
the day you became an apprentice was such a good day. your sisters went first. honeypaw couldn't shut her maw for a second and mintpaw couldn't stop nagging, but you looked at them with absolute joy. you were so proud of your sisters. you were called up, and for the first time you felt nervous. you carried yourself as regal as possible, and when you heard your new name, 'asphodelpaw' you smiled. it felt good to be the same as your sisters. you turned to a large black she-cat, a stern look on your face. her name was starlingclaw, and she was actually rather impressive. you broke a charming smile, and she motioned with her tail to pull you over to the side.
your first interactions with starlingclaw were to be remembered forever. the she-cat was stern, and almost always silent. her words were picked carefully, and you admired her for it. as time went on, you took on this quality of hers. your days were spent in near silence, but the two of you were known for always being in the forest, hunting as often as you could and as long as you could. you two were rather good friends, something that would carry throughout your apprenticeship.
you became a warrior much quicker than you thought you would. at eleven moons old, you followed starlingclaw into the forest, much like you did moons and moons before. it was a beautiful day; the sun was beating down and the wind was cool on your skin. the both of you had caught a mouse or two to bring back to the clan, when starlingclaw passed out, her head hitting a large stone. she was larger than you, a fully grown she-cat who was known for being larger than her counterparts.
at first you didn't know what to do, and then training kicked in. you ran toward camp alone; the thing that made you the most nervous. you returned with a small patrol of warriors, who got her to come to. immediately she coughed, and sat up, her amber eyes wide with fear. you never found out why she passed out that day, but upon returning to the camp, you were given your warrior name; "asphodeltail" in honor of your agility skills that had saved starlingclaw's life. you were just grateful that she had survived.
your warriorhood had just started when honeypaw and mintpaw became warriors. honeypaw became honeystorm and mintpaw became mintheart. you were so incredibly proud of the two she-cats, and they were proud of you as well. it was around this time that you had your first apprentice. he was a reddish-tom, much more closed off and timid than the cats you were usually drawn to. you watched as his brother had been made a warrior, and you watched as he improved and became stronger. it was his intelligence that drove you to train him. you could see it in his eyes, and as he became a warrior, you were incredibly proud.
